Cake Jalan Tiung

Back again for another food review. Actually there is a lot to review and still pending. But let me review this FRESHLY OPENED CAKE SHOP in Section 9, Shah Alam.

Cake Jalan Tiung, launced on 22nd April 2015. Located in a shoplot level 1, Jalan Tengku Ampuan Zabedah J9/J. Above Ani Sup Utara and 2 levels below my office :P

I love the origami deco at the counter

This is what we have ordered:

Salted Caramel Cake - RM10
Pavlova - RM12
Latte - RM10
Chia Seed Pudding White - RM15

Well I thought the Salted Caramel Cake was actually the vanilla caramel cake but instead it was a chocolate cake topped with caramel sauce. I'm sooo not into chocolate cake, so I just ate a little of it. The latte I think they forgot to put some sugar in it or perhaps, I need to ask for the sugar?

The chia seed pudding is not actually a pudding. The texture is like a whipped cream with chia seeds and some mixed fruits on top. Pavlova is average :) But those who love chocolate cake, I think that Salted Caramael Cake and the chocolate cake was a good choice. The cake is moist and fluffy, not too sweet :)

The cake was freshly baked by their owner. You may also purchase the whole cake but you will need to make a call first. Ok chiow..

Cafe Fiska Shah Alam

Since most of the restaurant was closed for the Friday prayers, I decided to have a quick yet simple lunch at Fiska Butik, Alam Avenue, Shah Alam. There is a small cafe for you to enjoy the simple lunch there. I called my lil sis to have a lunch together. She's studying in UITM Shah Alam taking ACCA-foundation and then pursuing her degree right after Eid Ul Fitr.

As usual, the old one was gonna treat the youngster for the meal

Cool Mint Soda RM/bottle
Baked Cheese Macaroni RM10
Macaroni Cheese RM10
Benoffee Pie RM8/slice

I love the concept here but the table was a bit small for us to serve the foods. The foods is good and affordable. I will come again for the benoffee pie :)

Ahmad & Co : Coffee & Cigar

Ahmad & Co located at The Strand, Kota Damansara. Open everyday from 10am to 11 pm. But only on Friday opening hours started on 3pm ; after Friday prayers. The restaurant was just beside the Rakshee's restaurant. Check their Instagram: AHMADANDCO for the address. Landmark: Encorp Strand Mall.

The carbonara was actually good while the coffee Im not sure about the taste coz I dont drink coffee. Well its not that I dont drink coffee at all. As long as the coffee has the milk then I can drink. I dont dare myself to drink coffee at night because Im afraid that I cant sleep eventhough the caffeine amount is little. Tee hee.. I ordered the hot chocolate instead and it taste like a normal chocolate drink :P

I think they should diversify their menu to attract more customers. But still the ambience and the deco is nice ;) I actually took a lot of photos in the cafe. Haha.. ok adios.

Jibby & Co, Subang Empire

17th January 2015, Bell my fellow friend/roommate since German Malaysian Institute treat me on a food. We decided to go to the fine dining place, Jibby & Co, located at Subang Empire, Subang Jaya.

I ordered some salmon salads; Panko Crumbled Soft Boiled Eggs and Smoked Salmon Salad and Bell herself ordered Prawns, Pan Fried Atlantic Salmon, Calamari, Clams and Butter Fish Hotpot . Cost us almost RM120+ for 2 dishes and drinks. Thanks Bell for the treat :P

The salmon salad taste a bit weird and I think it was such a waste because I really cant handle the taste. Maybe next time I will try their main course instead of salad.

Panko Crumbled Soft Boiled Eggs  - RM35

Me with my partner, tong ah bawa kete Pijot baru =P

Prawns, Pan Fried Atlantic Salmon, Calamari, Clams and Butter Fish Hotpot - RM38

Teopokki - I only love this dish

This is what I chose on that day; Pajeon. The taste actully like a cucur udang

Jjigae - something like stew and serve with rice and some side dishes. the taste is sooo sooo..
